Having been interested in and practicing various forms of art from early childhood; I got my first taste of custom picture framing in 1972 while working in my parents store at Cave Spring Corners.
We sold paint, wall paper, art supplies, and provided a custom framing service. That's where I discovered a natural skill and love of the art of custom framing, and began learning everything that I could about it. Corners Frame and Decorating moved to 3226 Brambleton Ave in 1980. In 1983 I and a colleague bought the business and started " Brambleton Frame Shop" as partners. She retired several years later: So I and my wife Barbara ( an art major herself with her own unique artistic talents) bought her share of the partnership and have been enjoying being in this business ever since. Over the years we have framed just about anything and everything that could be framed ( besides the obvious ) diplomas, needle work, posters, fine art prints and originals of all mediums. We have framed for various local artists, businesses, local and nationally renowned interior designers, and of course area residents who are in need of quality custom framing. We have also framed well known museum pieces. ( originals by John Singer Sargent and Walter Biggs ) to mention a couple. Barbara and I have all the experience and expertise to meet any framing expectations you might have.
